f you’re a landlord, our fully trained and Gas Safe registered engineer will ensure your appliances are compliant with gas safety regulations. Your safety, and that of your tenants, will always be our top priority. As the owner of a property, it is your legal responsibility to ensure that all gas appliances are safe and working correctly at your properties. For any gas appliance, such as a central heating boiler or gas hob, a gas safe certificate is required to verify this. A gas certificate, in accordance with The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, can only be issued by an engineer registered with the Gas Safe Register.

Gas Safety Certificates

A Gas Safety Record is the documentation that is given to you by a gas engineer after they’ve done gas work at your property. The documentation provided will often depend on the type of work they’ve undertaken – be it a service or a safety check. While all gas engineers are required by law to be on the Gas Safe Register, it’s not a legal requirement for them to provide Gas Safety Record documentation after they visit you. There’s one exception, and that’s if you’re a landlord.
